Hamon: Gunome

Horimono: Naginata Naoshi type

Hada: Fine Masame

Nakago: Refurbished in an undetermined time, show an appropriate shape and length.

Blade surface: Recently polished, perfect condition.

Blade measures:

Total blade length: 98,2 cm.
Nagasa: 61,1 cm.
Cutting edge: 62,9 cm.
Nakago length: 37,1 cm.

 

Koshirae:


- Total Koshirae length: 106,6 cm.

 

Tsuka:

-Tsuka length: 38 cm.

- Tsuka wood: Honoki

- Tsuka Ito: Japanese natural Silk black and gold color

- Menuki couple: Buddhist brass very long vajra swords

 

Fuchi/Kashira: Iron Gold inlay

Tsuba: Forged iron

(Kodogu estimated Age: Edo period)

 

Saya:

Wood: Honoki

Covered of Japanese Hokkaido Snake skin Urushi lacquered

Kurikata, Koiguchi and Kojiri: Genuine black water buffalo horn

Sageo: Silk wine color

 

General condition: Restored, very good. Blade by a Togishi master. Koshirae by a Koshiraeshi master.
